Louis Vuitton Soundwalk is an MP3 audio guide of cities around the world. Each guide is voiced by a different celebrity with a unique connection to the city they voice.
The project begins with the cities of China as it is home to this year's Olympic games. Future cities include a guide through Marakesh voiced by director Sophia Coppola.
Beautiful actress, Shu Qi, guides you through the city of Hong Kong. Gong Li and Joan Chen to lend their voices for the city guides to Beijing and Shanghai.
Shu Qi is enthusiastic about her role in the audio guides, "Hong Kong is a magnificent city, full of contrasts. I've always loved strolling around its streets... It's kind of my lucky town. I can't get enough of it. All the colors of the city bring back memories."
The tour starts at one place and walks you through the city. Interspersed with the tour are the sounds of the city as well as a narrative of each walk from the point of view of the narrator, evoking a real time feel.
This fall will unveil travel guides for cities around the world, including Europe and New York.
