Brookgreen Gardens, founded in 1931 to preserve South Carolina's native flora and fauna is a National Historic Landmark. The Gardens also feature sculptures and art in a natural setting. Brookgreen's special yearly event, Nights of A Thousand Candles celebrates its 10th anniversary this season and guests taking advantage of this unique holiday getaway will enjoy an exciting lineup of nightly performances.
Nights of A Thousand Candles features thousands of lights and candles strewn along the garden paths complemented by carolers and musicians who complete the holiday atmosphere and provide entertainment throughout the Garden Grounds. The event will take place during the weekends of December 5 and 6, December 12 and 13 and December 18, 19 and 20 from 3:00 - 10:00 p.m.
