With the November election fast-approaching, the eyes of the nation are narrowing in on each presidential candidate as they race to the White House. Some lean left, others lean right, but everyone enjoys a spirited debate.
Celebrities, like the rest of America, often follow the campaign trail in support of their favored candidate. Last week, more than 700 supporters of President Obama gathered at
JW Marriott Marquis Miami for the final finance event of the 2012 campaign. Among the star-studded supporters were actress Eva Longoria, who emceed the gala, rock percussionist Sheila E, who provided the entertainment, actress Melanie Griffith and Florida's former Republican Governor, Charlie Crist.
After signing a basketball which will be on display at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami's indoor NBA-approved basketball court, President Obama vowed to return with hopes of one day shooting some hoops at the hotel.
Immediately following the fundraiser, Eva Longoria and Melanie Griffith hurried to the private, ultra-luxury Hotel Beaux Arts Miami to catch the VP debate. Eva Longoria, Melanie Griffith, and Sheila E. all spent the evening at
Hotel Beaux Arts Miami, the exclusive boutique hotel encompassing the 38th, 39th and 40th floors of JW Marriott Marquis Miami.
