Luxury river cruise operators AmaWaterways will be launching new ships in 2013. The company plans to launch the 108-passenger ship, the
AmaVida, and the 164-passenger ship, the
AmaPrima. The firm also will be adding new itineraries, such as an 11-day Paris and Normandy cruise. The outfit is the only river-cruising firm that is a member of the prestigious culinary association, La Chaine des Rotisseurs. AmaWaterways is an industry leader in river cruising. With destinations traveling through Europe, Russia, Vietnam and Cambodia, and new voyages to Africa and Portugal, the line offers voyages to more than 20 countries. The Chatsworth, California-headquartered river cruising specialist recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with a red-carpet fete for its staff.
