Loews Hotels & Resorts announced that it has agreed to purchase the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel on June 16, 2012. The property, Loews Hollywood Hotel, will remain open while undergoing a $26-million renovation. The hotel has 600 guestrooms, 32 suites, and more than 48,000 square feet of meeting space.
