ITC Hotels has partnered with PURE Global to provide allergy-friendly guestrooms for all of its luxury hotels throughout India. More than 100 ITC hotels will be upgraded by this health-related initiative. "Not only are PURE Rooms great for people who struggle with respiratory issues, but provide the next generation's must-have amenity for leading hotel companies worldwide," said Vinny Lobdell, president of PURE Global. PURE Global reports that its patented technology, the PURE Room program, cleans, sanitizes, and seals all surfaces in a room, while filtering the air with medical-grade air cleaners. The process has been reported to eliminate up to 100 percent of ultra-fine particles known to cause illnesses. Guestrooms will be reviewed on a six-month basis; the process is redone every two years. ITC is recognized as one of the “greenest” luxury hotel chains worldwide.
