Wynn Las Vegas has a new interactive marketing campaign that is debuting this week in 1,000 taxicabs both on the Las Vegas strip and in the downtown area. The luxury hotel has partnered with Show Media to produce GPS-based audio and video tours for passengers. They include video tours of Wynn Las Vegas and Encore dining, entertainment attractions, shopping, and nightlife. Each vehicle contains a proprietary mobile device system with a 10.1-inch viewing window and touch-screen technology. The video will be updated consistently and serve as a source of information for visitors. The new mobile interactive campaign is an opportunity for Wynn to directly communicate with visitors based upon their location in Las Vegas. Marilyn Spiegel, Wynn Las Vegas and Encore President, said, "[It] offers a fun, interactive way to help travelers make an informed decision about their plans."
