Guests of Crystal Cruises can sail through airports and bypass the customary drudgery associated with flying and airport terminals. Door-to-gate porter and escort services, fast-track processes, and access to VIP/business class lounges are all part of the new Crystal VIP Airport Service. It is available for purchase internationally by all Crystal Cruises' customers. "Security lines, long hikes, uncomfortable chairs, cumbersome luggage — the modern-day airport experience has lost the ease that flying once provided," said John Stoll, VP of land and port operations at Crystal Cruises. "Whether one prefers to travel discreetly, or just minimize inconvenience, this service ushers you into the refined gentility of a Crystal experience from the moment your vacation really begins: when you leave home." The new Crystal VIP Airport Service package is available for up to four people. The luxury service is currently offered in New York City, Los Angeles, Rio, and Hong Kong.
