The team behind Recuerdo Wines, part of the Bespoke Collection portfolio of artisanal brands and experiences, is planning to open the The Vines Resort and Spa in Mendoza, Argentina late this year.
The resort will encompass a wine lodge and 22 luxury casitas impeccably serviced by a highly-trained staff. Top-class amenities include fireplaces, pools and intimate asado-style wine dinners served in a vineyard setting. Designed with dramatic 180-degree views of the Andes Mountains, the plans call for Argentina's most exclusive and refined wine and culinary travel destination.
Elements of the natural landscape and local materials will be combined with sophisticated, contemporary design to create an "exquisite, inspiring and luxurious year-round retreat" for wine lovers. Recuerdo is also offering a limited number of private vineyard estates on three to ten acre parcels with personalized winemaking plans, the owners of which will enjoy exclusive privileges at the resort.
Both the resort and estates are being designed by Argentina's top architectural firm, Bormida & Yazon. Led by founder Michael Polenske and President Paul Leary, the current Bespoke Collection portfolio also includes Blackbird Vineyards, I.
