| Location |
| Located in the heart of Vieux Lyon (the old quarter of Lyon) - classed World Heritage site by UNESCO - this hotel complex brings together four magnificent Renaissance buildings (14th, 16th and 17th centuries), which have been restored to perfection, and also makes a name for itself through the deliberate use of its contemporary interior design.

Hotel Overview
Lying in the heart of Vieux Lyon, Cour des Loges resembles a city chateau whose décor takes you back to the Italian Renaissance.
With its perfect blend of historic charm and contemporary comfort the hotel promises a successful sojourn, whether you are staying for business or for pleasure. It offers two restaurants (Café-Épicerie and Les Loges), a bar, wine cellar, Pure Altitude Spa, swimming-pool, sauna, Turkish baths, fitness center, hanging gardens, valet parking, and, to ensure complete satisfaction, the three concierges hold three Clefs d'Or.
Accommodations
Superior Room
Each room has been given the personal touch right down to the smallest detail and decorated in dazzling tones. Harmony reigns supreme with panelled ceilings, hundred-year-old woodwork, heavy curtains, imposing mirrors and furniture of either contemporary Le Corbusier or Mackintosh style, with some Renaissance influences for good measure. Tranquility and privacy have pride of place in these rooms overlooking the interior courtyard.
Juniors & Suites
The artist Hervé Thibaut has transformed these rooms, suites and apartments into living pieces of art, each one different from the next. Some take their inspiration from Italian opera boxes with embroidered silk and painted panels representing Venetian landscapes. Others have an air of an artist's workshop or photographer's studio from the early 20th century.
Dining
Les Loges
Imagine a Florentine courtyard with a marble floor and a spectacular contemporary glass and steel ceiling. This is the breathtaking surroundings in which Anthony Bonnet, GaultMillau d'Or 2007 "Talented Young Chef", officiates.
In the restaurant Les Loges, the chef and his team offer a refined gastronomic cuisine combining tradition and imagination. Throughout the seasons, you will be seduced by a menu of unequaled produce and quality.
Café-Épicerie
The Café-Épicerie owes its name to the history of Vieux-Lyon and the fact that it found itself on the very crossroads of the 16th century spice industry.
A long, steel bar guides the visitor to the entrance of the Café-Épicerie and its refined and contemporary setting: vaulted ceiling, dark parquet floor, stone walls and tapestries made from Lyon silk... On the menu in this elegant café, Anthony Bonnet has created a flavor which rhymes with freshness, as originality does with lightness. The menu highlights the presence of spices, aromatic oils and aromas.
The Lounges
The lounges are designed for privacy and calm. At the Fontaines lounge the walls are painted with aquatic scenes gently guiding guests to the bar. The walls of the Agape lounge, where an imposing fireplace occupies place of honour, have acquired a patina with the smoke curls of the cigars. In the Venetian lounge, the Murano ceiling lights brush against the tall Renaissance style wardrobes producing a serene and historical atmosphere.
Wine Cellar
According to legend, the cellar would have been used as a plenary hall for the Masonic lodge, with each member storing his bottles in the individual lockers which still exist to this day. Nowadays, the vaulted cellar welcomes wine lovers to tasting sessions orchestrated by our sommelier.
Spa
In the Pure Altitude Spas, natural elements set the tone of this carefully prepared simplicity... where vegetable or mineral based atmospheres invite you to enjoy the moment. At Cour des Loges a brand new relaxation area has been subtly integrated into the architecture of the building: two new Pure Altitude beauty cabins can be found next to the indoor swimming pool in a contemporary atmosphere of old stone. A sauna, Turkish baths, fitness area and relaxation room are nestled on a veranda looking out onto the green surroundings, contributing to the sense of well-being. |
