Dining

The Cristal Fine Dining -Shades of gold and cream set the tone for the relaxing ambience in The Cristal, with seven towering windows, emitting natural daylight, offering views of the formal gardens and woodlands. Be prepared to savour your time here, as well as the food. Advance reservations recommended. Open from 7pm ? 10pm

Private Dining -From intimate parties of 10 to Banquets for 100, Mar hall has a variety of private dining rooms for every occasion. Be it a special anniversary, birthday celebration or corporate dinner, our team of dedicated professionals will ensure your event is a success from beginning to end.

Casual Dining -Light lunches and snacks served Mon - Sat in the Grand Hall from 12noon until 4pm in an informal and relaxed setting. Sunday lunch served between noon and 2pm.

Golf
Designed by David Thomas, the Earl of Mar golf course is built on the grounds of Mar Hall Hotel, along the banks of the river Clyde. Thomas, a well-known golf professional of the 60s, a former runner up of two British opens, one in a play off with Jack Nicklaus, is also highly respected as a course designer.

Over the last twenty years, Thomas has designed and built over 12 courses worldwide. Most notable of his build are the Belfry, Slaley Hall, San Roque, La Manga west in Spain and Le Baule in France. Now, his latest design here, the Earl of Mar.

Built over 160 acres the par 70 course measures over 6645 yards. There are two par 5s, four par threes and 12 par fours. Adjacent to the first there is a large practice putting green and 330-yard driving range. The 9th and 18 both finish in front of the clubhouse where full bar and restaurant facilities are available daily.

John Mc Tear, a former PGA cup player, British Seniors Club professional Champion 2001, is now the resident golf professional here at Mar Hall. John offers full on site tuition for golfers of all levels.

Meetings & Events
7 meeting rooms will accommodate numbers ranging from 2 to 120 theatre style and, for larger events; Morton House and the MarQuee are also available. The property can provide you with the highest standard of audio and visual equipment required and all meeting rooms offer full black out facility and natural daylight. A dedicated meeting executive will ensure that your event is managed efficiently and professionally from beginning to end. Daily and Residential Delegate Rates are available to parties of 8 and above.
