The resort has benefited from the recent renovation which saw over $10 million USD in improvements. The hotel now offers 109 newly renovated and comfortably appointed rooms and suites that are spread throughout the vast and lush tropical gardens of the resort. Fringed by the powder white 45 kilometers long sandy beach of the East coast, the resort occupies a stretch of 350 meters of pristine open beachfront.

The Fairmont Zanzibar hotel offers a wide selection of dining options. Tradewinds family restaurant will cater to even the most discerning of palates. The Zama Lounge offers a menu inspired by the influences of Arabic African cuisines and the Nahodha Lounge offers small bites throughout the day. You can also enjoy the Mchanga Beach Bar, the Mwanga Poolside Bar and in-room dining is available upon request.

Meetings & Events
The culinary team at the resort can do anything from a romantic candle lit dinner on the beach, to a fun Seafood BBQ with live bands for 120 people to a plated six course gala dinner for 150.
