Located in downtown Vienna near the Karlsplatz, the hotel DAS TRIEST, by Sir Terence Conran, is THE masterpiece of hotel design in Austria.

Accommodations
Their suites with a private garden terrace sets the standard for effortless comfort.

These suites also received a lighting and amenities update from Sir Terence Conran and Conran & Partners in 2004. They feature a Wittmann sofa, coffee table and desk by Minotti, dining table and chairs by Dieter Knoll, "Miss K" table lamps by Philippe Starck and flat screen televisions, DVD and audio system by Bang & Olufsen.

Dining
The inner courtyard of the hotel DAS TRIEST has become one the busy city's cherished quiet spots. Its 30 year old olive trees and non-optional rosemary bushes are partly responsible for the hotel's mediterranean flair (and indeed, fragrance).

The extensive garden is open from 8am to 11pm and in summer when the grill is in service, it is the perfect place to have breakfast, lunch and dinner!

At Christmas time in the garden, they offer hot mulled wine and roasted potatoes.

Meetings & Events
The generously appointed Business Suite boasts 100 square meters, its own terrace with private access to the garden, specifically designed furniture and carefully chosen artwork.

In 2004, this suite was updated for en-hanced lighting and amenities by Sir Terence Conran and Conran & Partners. This suite features tables by B&B Italia, a Wittmann sofa, lounge chairs and table by Minotti, "Miss K" table lamps by Philippe Starck, 65" plasma screen and hifi/audio in Dolby Surround by Bang & Olufsen.

This representative suite is also used occasionally for smaller business meetings.
