Location
Fancourt, South Africa's leading golfing and leisure resort, lies in the heart of the Garden Route.

Hotel Overview

Set in the heart of South Africa's Garden Route, with its three Gary Player-designed golf courses and the only TaylorMade Performance Lab in Africa, Fancourt is a premier business and leisure destination.

Accommodations
  • Garden Rooms -Fancourt's Garden Suites and Studios offer guests the chance to rest in a peaceful garden setting. Depending on your specific requirements, choose from the Garden Studios or one and two-bedroom Garden Suites.
  • Manor House Rooms -At the Manor House, you will find a restful haven in a building with a history dating back to the beginning of the 19th century. In 1847 Henry Fancourt White established a workers' base at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains for the construction of the Montagu Pass. Now a National Monument, the Manor House with its 34 bedrooms is situated in wooded parkland and is the perfect base for your leisure. Whether you select a Standard Room, Executive Room or Deluxe Hotel Suite, your stay is guaranteed to be memorable.
  • Resort Lodges- Fancourt's Resort Lodges are built in the Colonial style with white walls and green roofs, and line the fairways of the Montagu Golf Course. One, two, three and four bedroom Lodges, all en-suite, are available either for outright purchase or in the form of a syndication.

    Dining
Fancourt has three fabulous restaurants offering a variety of excellent dining experiences in authentic settings. The restaurants bear testimony to Fancourt's reputation as purveyors of fine cuisine.

In addition, there is a club lounge in Fancourt's main reception, as well as the sandwedge (Montagu's halfway house), which both serve casual meals during the day.

    Spa
Away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, you can relax and be pampered in truly beautiful surroundings, enjoying an exclusive range of therapies, treatments and leisure activities. Luxury goes hand in hand with first-class treatments, equipment and professionalism. Enjoy a gentle swim in the heated Roman Bath, with magnificent vistas of the Outeniqua Mountains, or visit the sauna, steam rooms, chilled plunge pool, tepadarium, jacuzzi or fully equipped gym staffed by personal trainers.

In 2008, Fancourt launched its signature body range, Celebrating Nature. Drawing inspiration from the beauty of the Western Cape, and the Garden Route in particular, Celebrating Nature incorporates the essence of the area's indigenous flora, such as the extracts of the White Lily, Apple, Aloe Ferox and Lotus flowers. In addition to the body products, there is a range of Celebrating Nature individual treatments and packages, all tailored to revitalise and detoxify the mind and body through hydrotherapy, massage, exfoliations and wraps.

    Golf
Fancourt is South Africa's premier golf resort, featuring three highly rated Championship golf courses, where play is restricted to Members, their guests and hotel guests.

Since opening in the early 90's with just 27 Gary Player-designed holes, Fancourt's Outeniqua and Montagu golf courses have matured and developed into two of the finest 18-hole parkland layouts in the country. A round on either is a special experience, sculpted and finished as they are, with rare attention to detail and designed with the coastal George winds in mind.

    Meetings & Events
Overlooking the parkland layout of the Outeniqua Golf Course, and with the Outeniqua Mountains standing majestically in the background, the Fancourt Conference Centre is situated in one of the most scenic locations in South Africa.

With the beautiful views and facilities on offer, it may be hard to focus on business; however the Fancourt Conference Centre is a fully-equipped conference, meeting and event venue.

The Fancourt Conference Centre is equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment and video conferencing. It has a variety of rooms including a banquet hall (350 max) and six meeting rooms (including three boardrooms).
