Bora Bora Lagoon Resort and Spa
BP 175 - 98730 Vaitape
If Mother Nature has amply blessed the Polynesian islands, she has been particularly generous with our isle, Motu Toopua. It is here, in the middle of Bora Bora's majestic lagoon, that we have created the ultimate Polynesian destination.
In the middle of Bora Bora's spectacular lagoon lies Motu Toopua, a fragment of an ancient volcano that has become the ultimate tropical hideaway, a sweet-scented enclave of lush plants and flowers, tall palms and white sand beaches. This is the home of Bora Bora Lagoon Resort & Spa... a private paradise that will make all your tropical dreams come true.
Cool off after your day or simply lie back and sunbathe by our freshwater swimming pool. The freshwater free-form pool is located in the middle of the garden, close to the Café Fare and the Rotopa Bar.The pool is deep enough to take initiation dives, so you can practice your scuba diving in the pool before taking to the beautiful lagoon.
The resort has 44 Overwater Bungalows lined along three walkways arrayed from the beach over the lagoon. Each bungalow is furnished with a king or two twin beds and a private deck from where steps lead directly into the lagoon. The beautiful underwater sea life can be admired or fed through the illuminated glass-topped coffee table.
Discover the only treetop Spa in Polynesia. Mar? Spa welcomes you to the lush environment of the Bora Bora Lagoon Resort & Spa. Located on a secluded motu in the middle of the most beautiful lagoon in the world, it is situated on the beachfront, surrounded with exotic basins, waterfalls and gorgeous lilies, in a peaceful and serene decor marked with Polynesian wisdom.
Hardwood floors, bamboo and stone décor, high up in the midst of two giant Banyan trees are our wooden cabins, containing hidden treatment rooms. Listen to the soft breeze of the wind passing through the leaves. A quartzite bath on the ground floor, welcomes you for a rich bath with coconut milk and fresh local flowers'a pure romantic relaxing moment. Our private independent suite offers a couple massage-rooms as well as a "rain shower," for a traditional massage, a natural scrub or a vegetal wrap.
Our signature spa products are created especially for guests of the Bora Bora Lagoon Resort and Spa. Locals have retained the knowledge of using plants, flowers and specific fruits, such as the Noni, for both medicinal and cosmetic purposes. The Tahitian recipes, like the Mono? oil, are known and used all around the world for their benefits to hair and skin. The Mono? oil itself is the basis of the Mar? Spa's signature treatments. Our scrubs come from fruits, organic sugar, sand semi-precious stones or Pacific essential oils developed locally.
Delightful and sensual Honeymoon
The consecration of Love- This rich and sensual treatment, using mono?, pineapple butter and brown sugar, begins with a gentle body scrub, which awakens your senses and stimulates blood circulation. Then comes a delightful relaxing traditional massage with mono? oil- a symbol of Pureness- leaving you with a feeling of perfect well-being. Concluding this ritual, plunge into a romantic Union bath with coconut milk and fresh flowers, while you enjoy a fruit juice and fresh fruit. Feel the magic of Bora Bora.
Mar? Spa Royal
This very complete treatment invites you to an extraordinary journey towards Maohi legends. Lying under our tropical rainstorm, you are first scrubbed with our Lagoon Sand Scrub, made of mineral rich algae combined with semi precious stones. Our therapists, under the rain shower, rinse you off. Then, relax into a blissful body wrap using the sacred, healing Tamanu, or a scented mono? oil of your choice. While this mask is penetrating your skin, your scalp and feet are treated to a fabulous massage, leading to a full, traditional fifty-minute body massage; again with your choice of scented Mono? oil.
After the massage, delight in the luxurious sensation of a deep cleansing facial using locally grown hibiscus and Tiare flowers, including a coffee and Tahitian vanilla exfoliation. Finally, enjoy a facial and healing Tamanu mask, ideal for after sun care. A freshly prepared emulsion with flowers will leave you with a feeling of well-being and renewed energy.
The dark glossy hair of Polynesian women may have been best captured by Gauguin, but its source has long been credited to Mono? oil. The treatment consists of a gentle scalp scrub with coconut oil and powder followed by a head massage with coconut milk. The oil is then left on the hair and wrapped in a warm towel while the therapist moves to the feet for an equally luxurious skin softening massage.
