Just "pas ou deux" from the famous Arc de Triomphe, the Hotel Royal Monceau has been recently re-styled by the high-profile French interior decorator Jacques Garcia known for re-designing the Sultan of Brunei's palace and several important French batiments. Garcia's signature design is a bold mix of 17th and 18th century styles -- a definite departure from the minimalist movement currently in vogue.
The entrance itself is royal set off by 18th century lamps and modern illumination.
Accommodations
The Hotel Royal Monceau houses over two hundred deluxe rooms, each one a visual treat. The outlandish opulence of Garcia's style is more than evident in the deep-cushioned sofas and Gobelins tapestries.

The fussiest of guests cannot help but be impressed with their sheer size and the flawless marble flooring. The swimming pool within the premises too, is exquisitely designed with sculptures surrounding it.
