The new Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of the San Francisco Travel Association is Howard Pickett. In his new role, Pickett will be in charge of marketing San Francisco as a premier destination for people from all over the world. With an emphasis on leisure travel, Pickett will ensure that audiences — visitors, meeting planners, travel trade, journalists and San Francisco Travel partners — are all well aware of the numerous features that the city offers, from hotels to incentives and programs. In the past, Pickett has successfully marketed various travel opportunities such as destinations, hotels, attractions, cruises and more for places ranging from Mammoth Lakes to the Bahamas’ Atlantis resort and Disneyland.
