Spanish Meliá Hotels International chain has announced that it plans to renovate properties in Cuba, to bring them up to date with new luxury touches.
The Spanish company will continue to focus on the Caribbean island, with the objective of enhancing the luxury product to place its hotels in a better position among the lead agencies in this market, among other projects. The Cuba Division of the hotel chain had a meeting in which Gabriel Garcia, Meliá Cuba's commercial director, described in detail some of these innovations.
Garcia announced the opening of Meliá Marina Varadero Hotel, equipped with all the facilities for long stays on land combined with life aboard, he also referred that Tryp Peninsula Varadero, has become into Meliá Peninsula Varadero and he added they will reopen on May the Royal Service at the Paradisus Princesa del Mar, significantly extended with a section of 108 modern suites.
