The Jumeirah Group is expanding upon its Breast Cancer Awareness initiative and taking it three continents this year. The façade of luxury hotels in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Mallorca and Shanghai will bear the pink ribbon. Various destinations are sponsoring free clinics and other activities to promote breast cancer awareness. The Jumeirah's Burg Al Arab hotel is seeking assistance from the public to set a price point to sell an original 24-carat rose gold iPad with an engraved pink ribbon and the hotel’s logo on its Facebook page. The pink iPad will be sold at the end of the month to the highest offer. Other “pink” fundraising activities at Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts include afternoon tea, special cocktails, and pink macaroons, cakes and cupcakes. The Talise in Jumeirah Emirates is making special offers to female guests wearing pink to their gym sessions or spa treatments.
