The Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the elegant hotel's grand re-opening with a series of special events. The landmark hotel is actually 86 years old, but was reopened in 1992, heralding a revitalization of downtown St. Pete. The 20th century celebration includes the restoration of some of the restaurant's original murals, 1992 menu items, including cinnamon raisin French toast ($11), macadamia nut-crusted grouper with papaya salsa and candied ginger basmati rice ($25 lunch/$30 dinner) and white chocolate cheesecake with dark chocolate crust and raspberry sauce ($8) will presented on vintage-style china and Pompeii-inspired cocktails.
